House – Marks: Midstream Estate
This design was done with mono-pitched roofs for height creation in the bedrooms. We created wide internal window cills by extending the windows.
High ceilings with bulkheads define the open-plan dining room, kitchen and lounge areas.
The open ‘stoep’ flows out onto a pool deck and into a manicured garden area.
The use of decorative painted brickwork on the big open walls was used to define the bland walls on the outside.
